i have been offered a 00 JDM ITR tranny with a spoon diff as a swap for my 96 JDM ITR tranny and a few quid, any ideas on which would be better? i know the 00 4.7 final would be better than the 96's 4.4 but what about the different 4th and 5th. any ideas?

 

it's up to you really. Is that Spoon diff a 1.5 or 2-way?

Personally I think I would do the trade for the JDM tranny and Spoon diff (as long as it is in good condition and doesn't grind or anything).

 

yea i second that if the kid still has it in the car and you can drive it that would be best. nothing worse then gettin beat on a trans, its happen to me a few times.
