99 Accord auto trans makes noise in Park/Neutral but not when put into gear
Hey guys, looking for some clues here. My Accord makes a grinding..ish noise when in Park or neutral but as soon as I put it in any gear it goes away. Someone mentioned possible torque converter, but looking for any other ideas. Wondering if anyone else has experienced same problem?
Thanks in advance.

it sounds like you may have a busted cv joint the grinding noise is the joint spinning and grinding up against the other part of the shaft or anything around it look down in ur car and check them out
Don't think it is the CV joint. The car drives just fine.
It only makes the noise when it is in Park or Neutral. For example when I get in and start the car, the noise is there. As soon as I put the car in reverse or Drive the noise goes away.
