Default 94 civic w/ 2000 h22 few question about h22

ok so i just bought my friends 94 hatchie yesterday since he joined the service. its got a H22a1 engine, not very much room...,and im thinking bout pulling it out and building it up. i need to make up my mind about it. NA or turbo???

i like the NA idea just cuz everyone around here is turboed.
question

1. can i run 11.5:1 comp on pump gas or a higher comp??
i did a lil homework and i saw that h22 euro r it has a 11:1 comp. and mine has 10:1 comp.
2. could i do a stroker kit 2.4 with the highest comp on pump gas??
3. whats the deal with h23?
4. is a h22 sleaved like a b series engine?
5. wiring harness? obd2? or 1?? i think the car is obd1 and i dont have vtec. how or wat can i do to make it work? if i need a jumper witch 1 do i need to buy. the vtec is not pluged up since i have no wires that go to it.
6. would it be bad if i used my PYR LS chiped ecu with the engine for temp use??
7. witch ecu do i need to buy since the my bubby bought a jun chiped ecu that the vtec doesnt work?
8. how can i tell if the h22 is a 2000 year model and the tranny too??

if any one can answer my question that would be great.

But at least his questions are H22 related...lol

1. Yes. 11.5:1 with a good tune will work on pump gas.
2. Yes and 11.5:1 with a good tune will work on pump gas.
3. It's a 2.3L DOHC non VTEC. that's the deal.
4. H22 has FRM sleeves.
5. 94 Civic is OBD1 and the 2000 H22 is OBD2. Get a VTEC ECU and wire up the VTEC
6. It would be bad if it's not tuned to run an H22, and I'm guessing that it's not.
7. A chipped ECU that is tuned for your setup.
8. You can tell by What engine code is stamped on the block and what label is on the transmission?
