Does type r tranny have double high speed synchros?

I think theres only 1 syncro per gear period? Now they are doubled in pairs, (one shift fork per set) 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th etc.
Are they high speed? sure 9k seems high to me for tranny operation.
So I guess all b-series trannys have double high speed synchros.
I think the only upgrade for our synchs are ones that have been carbon coated for strength. But If you shift good (and the stock synchros are in good shape) I doubt you could even tell the difference.

2nd and 5th are double cone. That doesn't mean you can shift at 16,800 RPM.
Doesn't make a difference IMO. I can make a single cone shift and engage better.
