Default oil in coolant

I just opened my radiator cap and saw 3 to 4 drops of small brown oil droplets.

then I checked my coolant reservoir and it seemed to looked greasy.

Car was never tracked ran hard. 89,000 miles

just changed, coolant, all belts, new water pump, and tranny rebuild. 5 months ago

also my friend told me he saw a cloud of white smoke when I vtec'ed.

possibly a blown head gasket?

There ya go. Do a compression & leakdown if you need more assurance.

Is your coolant milky? If you just have a couple of drops of an oily substance floating on the top of the coolant I wouldnt worry about it. Do a compression.

I'm not explaining it well...I have seen on more than a few different cars oil/water effect at the top of the radiator. Not a mixture of the two and not even close to a lot, just a drop or two. Whether its coolant and oil or coolant and something else I dont know....but its not a big deal. Usually a blown headgasket will drop a lot of oil into your coolant creating chocolate milk in your radiator.
