If you don't want to cut into your wiring harness, you will have to invest in a 200 dollar harness converter. But if you use a soldering gun to do your wires, that does the same job with the same reliability.

Cons - Someone might steal it if it's in plain sight.

Cons, those hidden costs. It's useless to you without dyno time for tuning.

Glove compt, armrest, gauge bezel, dash, I've even seen them mounted in a sun visor

ok, you got me. It WOULD be cool to mount it in the sunvisor. I never thought of that.

It just frustrates me because it's too tall for a din, and if you mount it there anyway, you can't put anything in the cup holder. Too much moisture. It looks lame on top of the dash. Its not supposed to be in direct sunlight anyway. In the instrument cluster bezel... not for me. Same for the glove box.

Anyone have a picture of one mounted in their sunvisor?

I love mine, its simple to tune with (some would argue with me on this) and it is reliable, I mess with it on my Integra all the time, I just dont lean it out too much until I am on the dyno.

for the good - go to http://www.apexi-usa.com
for the bad - Dosen't show speed like fields, and dosent beep at shift point like fields, but better in every other possible way but those.
for the ugly - mounting it in the sunvisor (tell the guys behind you you have a VAFC)

seriously. that could only be because of wiring error.
