Yeah, it kinda just sits on my valve cover, and I think thats why when my car warm starts it gives the car too much gas and I have to pull back on the pedal...

That looks like its the wrong cable for that car

thats the correct cable and routing for that car. mine was the same way before i did the mpfi swap. if the cable is sticking, try to oil it with some chain and cable lube(i got it at napa). that should free up the cable and make it work better.

yea thats the right cable ,hell before i did my swap i think it ran behind the rear bumper and came back to the front (J/K)

if it gets stuck spray some pb down the cable and that'll free it up <trust me
