Default getting rid of gsr

I am selling my gsr assuming that the bottom end and head is damaged, other than that the only thing wrong is the abs does not work. The body is clean and so is the interior. Not a salvage title and no frame damage. Has I/H/E. How much could I sell it for?

It's hard to say with the information given, for an accurate answer I'd give more info such as year, mileage paint condition, pictures would be a huge help etc. How damaged is the motor? Does it run?

As much as someone is willing to pay. What I consider to be reasonable and what you would consider to be reasonable may be totally different. I've seen people get practically robbed buying used cars and they think its fine. You just have to find someone dumb enough to pay what you're asking. There are a lot of kids who love the mad vtex and will pay cash money for it, not thinking twice to check to see if the car is even in good condition.

Why are you assuming bottom end and head damage?

snapped timing belt probably. 90K is the replacement interval, so 180K should be about when the 2nd belt is replaced with the 3rd one unless it breaks first.

I would not assume that the bottom end is busted too. The three that i've seen only bent valves. If this is the case, I would slap a new head on and sell it for $3,500

Hell with that. Make SURE that there is head and bottom end damage before doing anything. If there is head damage, replace it and either keep the car or sell it to the highest bidder. Bottom end damage would be a PITA and you should also sell it to the highest bidder or part it out.

Belt did not snap. I stop caring about the car. It had rod bearing issues, not quite spun, but you hear the rod bearing on start up. Water got in through the CAI, I was careless and went through a puddle on a highway. I reved out some of the water, drove, went to rev out some more and the engine made noises like parts colliding inside and it shut off...smoked a bit. I didnt pull the engine apart or anything; I am just selling with the assumption the whole engine is [freak]ed. I want the car out of my garage so i can put the tsx in there. Car has ACT 12lb flywheel, exedy stage 1 clutch, dc 421, aem cai w/ bypass(no [freak]ing use), apex ws2(2years old), motor mount inserts, new dist(less than 1 year old), o2 sensors(2yrs old), has ok looking swirlies, type r lip, I still have the oem intake.

I was thinking to part out, but too much of a hassle
