Please help!!
would it be that hard for a noob like a myself to install new sleeves, pistons, rods, valves, retainers and valve springs, looking to jsut my engine internals new more reliable and going for turbo set-up in the future. i own a 94 teg gsr, its my first car, i just wnated to know if could maybe do this work with a few simple ratchets and tools or do i need to be precise with some type of balancing or settings?
you cannot install sleeves yourself, send the block out to golden eagle, erl, laskey racing, someone along those lines. Golden eagle even sells pre-sleeved ls blocks for under 1k with no core required, so u could build up that block while driving your car around still
Alright so I've had this integra sitting in my shop for 5 years. 96 model LS auto. First car I decided not to sell it. First time car gave me issues was after about a year, had to replace the distributor. It happened again..new distributor. And about 2 years later..again. I bought an S2000 and put tghe integra in the garage. I've been working on it the past 2 days. Getting frustrated...First I took the old distributor off...took apart and cleaned. It cranked and ran good for about 15 seconds. Wouldnt start after that. I've sinced replaced the distributor, news plugs, wires...can not get it to start. Also took apart and cleaned fuel injectors. The exact sounds Im hearing while trying to turn over....its like all you can hear is the starter. Car doesnt sound right...Kinda seems like its not getting fuel but I've taken apart and cleaned all fuel related parts. And it does have fuel pressure.
Any suggestions?
