jegs.com has an 8 pt, weld it urself, roll cage kit for $170. does anyone have or know someone who has bought and installed this cage? a pic would be great, but an explanation of fitment and install would be cool too. this is for my 91 crx. but info on another chassis would help also. thanks

My friend installed a Jeg's cage into his hatch. Fitment was ok. Of course there was some trimming, cutting, and notching. But for the price, it was a pretty good deal.

 

What are you trying to accomplish? What is the car purpose?

my question are you getting an ef (civic hatch or crx) cage

if not you can go and buy cro-moly tubing from your local hardware store for more a foot than you would pay for your first born child

 

its for a drag car 400+hp. crx chassis, cage.
