Headlight lens replacement advice?
Any advice on taking a lens off of a headlight? I searched but came up empty.
I have two passenger headlights, one with a cracked lens but perfect on the inside. The other has a prefect lens, but rusted on the inside. I'd like to match the good lens with the good headlight.
It looks easy but any pointers or adivce would be great before I start. I want to avoid breaking things or having another leaking headlight.
Thanks,
JACK

try searching from the red link, you will find something. (type in oven headlight archived/ searching the post bodies)
but the trick is to throw them in the oven on low for a short while (slide the metal tabs off first) and all the metal screws and the mounting bracket, this heats up the adhesive so you can pull them apart.
and make sure to seal it back up real good so it doesnt leak.
