How do I replace the tail light assembly? This is the wrap around light, not the one mounted to the trunk lid. Kids were playing football and one made a diving catch only to have his elbow go through the tail light.

Anyway, I opened the trunk this morning and found the three bolts for the tail light assembly near where the light sockets are. That helped. Not sure if just need friendly persuasion from there or if there's a trick to getting it out?

wat year is ur car first thing ...... if its an 06-07 ive done plenty of times , theres two bolts that u can reach under ur rear bumber and theres a screw holding the light from the bottom,but if its 03-05 someone else might need to help u....

 

Sorry I forgot to put that in there. It's a 2004 Accord.
