a dohc engine does not have lifters, but i think you a reffering to the metal plate that bridges the cam lobe to the valve. and at any given point in the engines cycle, a few will be tight (valves depressed) and a few will be loose (valves released). there is a procedure for adjusting these valves, rather than a torque spec as you would find with a single inboard cam engine that uses hydraulic lifters. the procedure is on here, just try searching for valve adjustment, or you can find this same procedure in any good repair manual
ok i understand
i have a problem with my injectors on my 95 integra i have gas in the fuel rail
the gas pump is working and is gas on the filter and also spark on all wires
i check the fuses
it all happens when i tried to replace the distributor and put it back after that i try to start the car on but nothing. any other thing i could do to fix this (*&^&) car .

Make sure your distributor isn't off 180 degrees.
