i have a question,i leased a 95 integra gsr before it was all stock and now its semibuilt .. i/h/e exedy stage 1 clutch,chipped p28 ecu,skunk2 IM,dyno tuned and im thinkin about tradin it in for a evo 8 .. i just passed smogg like a week ago and i still owe 6500 on it,, i was wonderin if they would take it still even though its no longer stock.. has anyone trade in a vehicle modded before??

 

yes they will but man don't trade it in You should sell your car privately and get enough to get out of the loan with zero debt on that loan. Think about it this way, If you trade your gsr in they will only give you 2 or 3k tops and that remaining 4 or 5k that you owe they will have to transfer onto your new loan so instead of owing let's say 20k on your loan for the evo, you will owe 24 or 25k dollars on that car and will never get out of the loan on the evo because if you try to trade the evo in, you will only get 1/2-2/3 of what you paid so eventually you will be in even more debt Try to sell it privately it should't be too difficult Just my thoughts though

 

good gosh. you still owe 6500 on a 95 gsr. what the heck i paid 5000 for my 01 ls with 100k on it and clean as hell. im just in awe at how bad the salesman gave it to you.

 

yeah i kno i was really desperate for a car when i was 18 .95 gsr with 104xxx after interest five year term came out to be 12000!! i kno i kno .. but yeah i have a chipped ecu . what would they look for if i trade in the car

 

Depends on how modded the car "looks". If i were you i'd try to turn it back to stock as much as possible. the mods will only depreciate the value of the car. Dealerships could care less how much you spent, because they know that selling a stock integra is much easier then a modded one.

 

everything outside is all stock.. car looks all stock. all the parts i have in the engine has carb on it.also my dam abs is always comin on and off i dont kno why.. all my friends with integra have the same problem.. abs light comin on and off.. but thanks for ur help ht. imma bring it in and see whats good.. haaha

ouch. interest rates can get you pretty bad. i wouldn't trade the car. 104xxx miles on a 95 gsr isn't bad.

 

lol man he got you bad, sale it and pay your bill of, they will [freak] you when you do trade in mods are no, no's.
then go get you evo, bu be alittle smarter next time.
