chirping from alarm?

chirping from alarm?
EVERY time i disarm my alarm it chirps the 3 times signaling that someone was messing with my car. i have tested it standing 10 feet away, arm it chill for a min then disarm, still does it. so i cant really tell at all when someone was setting my alarm off or just f'in with my car unless i hear it or my remote chirps at me first.
alarm is a Viper 5000 i think.
