Need Some Idea's of what could be Wrong???
I just got my Build done and its only putting down 187whp and the compression is reading 210 across the board! Ok so here is what I got:
B18c5 Block
Stock ITR Crank
Eagle Rods
Wiseco 11:5 pistons Over sized .25
OEM Head gastet
Block gaurd
Clutch masters Lightened Flywheel
Clutch masters Clutch kit
B18C5 Head
Ferrea Valves Over sized 1mm
Supertech Valve springs/ret
Toda B Cams
Stock ITR Intake manifold/TB
Hondata IM Gasket
Precision 440 injectors
Toda header
Now Like I said its only making 187WHP on a mustang dyno. Im worried about the compression numbers really. I think it should be higher?? I dropped a Valve and had the head Fixed at a Machine shop and a light PNP done. The Block was also bored/decked/honed. Let me know what you guys think it could be?? thanks

you have a pretty good setup for street car....what program are you on???? To see more power with the setup you have....there's something you missing....just follow the rainbow and you will find a ported head awaiting for you......

I am guessing you wanted to break 200. You have a very solid set-up there are a few items that could help a bit.
The Toda header is good header but there are better ones out there; SMSP, Hytech with a full 2-1/2" or larger exhaust should give you some more.
Was the intake manifold port matched to the head? A larger bore Throttle body.
What kind of Intake? A 3" with a velocity stack is also a very good choice.
Just a few items for you think about.

your answer is, its a mustang dyno....which read.. the lowest, you want 200whp go to a dynojet.
On another note.. whats your exhaust..Toda header is ok.. but if u want real power i'd suggest smsp, bisimoto , or hytech.

i would be happy if i was you. sounds like a strong motor. people dont realize toda specializes in road coarse stuff,so there concerned about mid range power not top end. post up your graph,i bet you have a nice midrange. if you want drag racing/topend power go with another cam/header combo

I was expecting to break 200whp.
Compression ran 225 ACROSS. Did a leakdown and I have 20% leak in cylinder 1 and 4, rings are toast. Having it fixed in 2 weeks though.

One other little Problem is the Vtec doesnt Crack anymore. It just rolls into it?? Im not familar with these cams so any info will help. And im still thinking the compression is a little low 210 across the board??
