I'll be dragging my R this upcoming weekend...I might take off my cat-back exhaust AT the drag strip...Will this cause a CEL light to come on since the secondary O2 is near the end of the cat? Anybody with experiences/advise? thanks..

 

yup it sure will.... jsut reset yoru ecu when you put your header back on... not a problem

I would rather take off muffler only.

 

Never mind then..I'll just take off the muffler then...Previously i've had a CEL with my secondary O2 sensor and Acura fixed it under warranty...I tried resetting and that didn't work...I hate CEL lights...

 

And how is that done ?? (Reset the ECU)
