Default What should I do to the H22a block to run a forged piston?

I have a 98 JDM H22a and have heard that they have some nikasel sleeve. All I currently have is a 50hp shot and your basic bolt ons. I want to just get pistons and rods, but I dont know about this sleeving thing. Are there any pistons where you dont have to resleeve your block? I want to increase my nitrous shot but want to take care of this problem first.

Are you planning on raising or lowering your compression with these pistons? if you are raising compression then you can get h22a type s pistons. they run 11:1 and you wont have to resleeve with those. if you get forged pistons though then you will have to resleeve, cause in the long run its a lot better for the block.

well I was planning on getting a good strong piston so that I could run a higher shot of nitrous without raising or lowering the compression. Somewhere between a 10.0:1-11.0:1 would be fine. I would like an aftermarket piston though.

Thanks

Why not a set of stock JDM 10.8:1 pistons?

I have a 5th gen type S, and i have been running 80 shot safetly for about 3years now... i have the basic bolt on's (exaust, intake, ignition system) stock feul system, and stock compression... i wouldnt reccomend pushing it passed 80 without upgrading your feul system.... if need any help or have any questions, let me know...
