I pulled my head off and am having it redone. When I pulled it off I noticed the tops of the pistons are burnt or a hard gunky substance. Is this something to worry about or will it be fine? The cylinder walls look and feel fine no groves or dry spots. Any help will be gratefull.

 

Normal carbon build up. Shop vac in one hand, scraper in the other.
