Default Carbon fibre hood problem HELP NEEDED ASAP!

Tried fitting my second hand carbon fibre hood today but the screws holding the bonnet to the hinges dont tighten fully and now they dont loosen either, it just keeps on turning either way. Any ideas on what to do? Is there any other way of fitting the bonnet without the screws?

looks like the nuts on the inside of the frame came off. Unless you can get something under there I dont see how you can get the screws off. Who is the hood manufacture?

your going to either have to cut a pocket and use a vise grip on the nut and take off the bolt or your going to have to cut the entire section out and then remove the nut and bolt and then re fibreglass it.

aristro i dont think its the hood manufacturers fault i think jor-don just over tightened it trying to get the bolt to go down completely.

it just depends. There should be no reason it came off. A good hood has them welded to a plate rather than just fiberglassed into the hood. If it is just fiberglassed then any pressure would dismount them. Welded plates you can crank on them with all your might and they wont come lose.

I agree, that is a metal hood versus a fiberglass hood. You can call them carbon hoods but they are 90% fiberglass ands resin and if you're lucky 10% carbon. I dont know much about the problems with OEM hoods but I used to distribute hoods made in France and also some US made hoods and the france hoods had plates that were tapped vs fiberglassed nuts that a majority over time all came loose. This is just from my experiance in having to deal with the complaints. That is why I asked the manufacture so I could probally tell you how it was manufactured to help with fixing the problem

As the bonnet is light, i thought maybe some sort of industrial strength glue would work? Not the best of ways but will it work?
Not too sure who made the hood as i bought it second hand.
