this is my daily driver , i cant afford to have it out of commission for that long, my other car is strictly for the track and plus im not really looking for maximum gains , my only goal for this car is 200whp .. about how much is the spoon tb?

i think its like 400 or so and i would assume it'll help 5hp at most, might as well get dcrh for 10-12hp bump

dam spending a lot of money on parts, why dont you go with hytech headers instead if your spending 1k plus on headers, i heard those are the best

Only a dyno will tell. The TB is a decent size already, put it together with cams, head work, manifold work and the TB wil uncork the bottle neck. These motors breath great from the factory so TB isn't going to yeild any butt dyno improvements.

When I was into cavaliers back in 2000 we had like a 48mm TB or something like that it was huge gain boring to 60, it really uncoked the flow.

If down time is an issue order a TSX unit, send that out to be bored. When it arrives install it then send out your stocker to be done then sell that!

NO you dont. i proved that stupid theory wrong. even on a mustang dyno i made over 200whp. on a dynojet i made 296.7. thats about 7whp over 200. and i have no reflash. you can tell by hearing the Vtec crossover.o0o yea and btw the diff in a cai and the sri cant be much cuz i got a sri!

CHeckout King Motorsports for $225 they will port match the intake and bore the throttlebody out to 65mm and next day it back to you. If you can find a ride for a couple of days this is one of your best bets.

Without cams, head work and tuning you will lose power with that manifold.

Really? It's a DBW Type R unit.

I say if you want to spend a grip of cash buy the TSX unit and send it to maxbore.com, if not send your stock unit to maxbore.com

better find a dyno that works. 207 whp with just a sri, dcrh, exhaust aint happening. how would you like to explain your freak 17 whp over my 190? when i rock a cai, comptech shorty into a random tech. hi-flow cat, paired with a greddy Ti-C. also got the hondata img.
