Default Clutch Swap & Turdbo Build 2gether?

This winter I'll be bolting up the snail, but before that I wanted to swap clutches. Still on the stocker so far. From what I have seen, sounds to me it would be ALOT easier getting to all the nuts/bolts once the manifold and head where off. Since they will be off for the new setup, wouldn't it be smart to put the clutch on @ the same time?

Yes, once the head is off, you don't need to tilt the motor back to get the bolts on top.

Good luck.

Cool. From everything I have read I figured this would be somewhat easier than an all out assault w/the exhaust manifold and head in place.

Tackle 2 birds with one stone.

Right, thats why I figured instead of taking everything off, pulling the trans then putting it back together only to pull it all apart again for the turdbo, I would do it all @ once.

yes you can

I i have said before, it is possible, and it makes it a lot easier if you grind off one of the tabs that hold on one of the poinless heat shields. I has no issues removing the tranny on the last clutch swap i did

oh yeah, once the car is boosted would it only be a matter of removing the downpipe anyways? I bet the downpipe would take up less room than the header...i am prob wrong though.
