How can i tell which head i have?

Default How can i tell which head i have?

I have a d15b7 block but the head is different... i know its sohc and and is a vtec head even though it doesnt say VTEC on the valve cover.... where can i look to find out what its from? thanks

look above the exhaust manifold, there should be 3-4 circles with #'s in them on the passenger side of it. They tell you the year. The driver side has the code of the head. Example: (PR3-1) would be a DOHC VTEC head from a OBD-0 B16 from a 88-91 CRX SIR, or Integra XSI.
