This'll be interesting. It truly does seem to be a quality product, comparable to the DEI GPS, more or less. (Stuffing it away, running power to it, etc. would be a concern.)
One concern is the pricing. It's about the same start-up cost as a DEI, but monthly payments on GPS Snitch are at least double (can be triple if you go all out). But I'll wait for reviews.

i received the product today, but the advertisement for 100 free trackings is no longer applicable, you MUST pay a 30 dollar activation fee PLUS 15 bucks every month for as long as you have the product. no thanks.

so im considering returning it, however im thinking about simply not activating it and hard wiring it into my car anyway. if the day comes when my car gets stolen for the third time, i could then activate the product and track for the one time the company should ever expect me to use it. in talking to customer service, they approved this idea, but the girl i spoke to sounded like an idiot. i may in fact return it and i have 10 days to figure that out.

if any one has any options / input about anything let me know

How are you going to install it and not test it and hope it works when the dreadful day comes? you get what you pay for.

do you think i could really get away with that? im keeping it, im just not ready for a commitment yet. its like they would be chipping away at what the value of my car would be. even though i figured it would take 50 years to accomplish the whole thing.

i think this way its like saying for 15 dollars a month i will never have to wonder where the [freak] my car went ever again..

How do you know its going to work if you dont test it. Do you think I install gps in people cars and don't test it to get the best signal. If I have to test them and its made to be installed in the car. How do you think that something that not made to be installed in a car. Or in a really hidden area is going to work.
