Default WTB: 99-00 Civic Si Front Strut Forks

Hey Guys,

I am in need of some 99-00 Civic Si Front Strut Forks. I need them ASAP. It must be from a 99-00 Civic Si. I cannot use any other 96-00 Civic Front Strut Forks, they are not the same as the 99-00 Civic Si ones.

Get at me if you have them! Thanks ...

- Danny

Yean, I cannot use those. Look at the Part Numbers ...

96-00 Civic CX/DX/LX/HX/EX Front Forks: 51811-S01-000, 51821-S01-000
99-00 Civic Si Front Forks: 51811-S04-000, 51821-S04-000

^ No, those Part Numbers are for the Forks, not the LCAs. I had just accidentally typed in "Front LCAs" instead of "Front Forks" (I fixed the post now) ... Search the Part Numbers and you will see they are for the Forks and you will also see that they are different.

You see the 99-00 Civic Si's use different Front LCAs and Strut Forks than Regular 96-00 Civics. The 99-00 Civic Si LCAs are thicker at the Strut Fork and the Strut Forks on the 99-00 Civic Si are wider to accommodate for that added thickness on the LCAs. If you research you'll see this is true.

Anyways, I just need to make sure I buy 99-00 Civic Si Front Strut Forks so that they'll bolt up to my 99-00 Civic Si Front LCAs. I have a set of Regular 96-00 Civic Forks and they do not work.

This is from 2008 ... Make your own thread so that people stop PMing me.

FYI, you can use 97-01 CR-V Front Strut Forks as well - they are the same as the 99-00 Civic Si ones.
