I am looking into brake upgrades over the paltry 9.5" OEM DX brakes that I currently have. I would like to upgrade to the next size up EX 10.3" rotors and calipers but I dislike adding additional unsprung weight. I am aware of the aluminum Spoon calipers and the weight savings they offer but are there any other alternatives that are cheaper? How do the 5410 / 17CL14VN / Accord calipers compare in terms of weight as indicated in BrakeExpert's list?
