I have a 1990 CRX Si with a DOHC ZC swap. The car reaks of exhaust/gas inside and outside. If I drive across town my clothes will smell like it. I dont know if maybe its overfueling or something but has anyone else experienced this or know what it could be?

 

maybe your charcoal canister is bad! Check it....its on the firewall. It collects vapors so it could be bador clogged now

 

you probably have a fuel leak either under the hood or in the car ,i'm guessing the gasket around the door for the fuel pump has a crack in it

dude...if the charcoal canister is clogged it would run like sh*t
and if it was coming from the exhaust (which the canister would do) you would't make it across town with out passing out from the CO

 

Yah it dosent run like **** so its not the charcoal canister. I suppose it could be a fuel leak since I'm also getting shitty gas mileage. I'l look into that, thanks

 

mine was doin the same i replaced my fuel filter and problem was solved.
