Default best oem upgrades i can get fir an eg dx hatch

ok i was in a shitty accident over the weekend and got a punctured lung and my back is all messed up. so i have decided that my brakes and suspension are going to be next in the upgrade department. any way i have been hearing that i can use oem parts from other hondas and end up with a pretty good brake setup, i need a rear disc conversion and im only wanting to spend 200 is that possible i have heard good thing about gsr setups any help would be great as to what would be the best combo for 200-250 bucks thank in advance

Gsr fronts and rears with ebc pads and rotors good tires and stiff suspension and you'll be stopin on dimes.

Honestly good tires and a little more agressive front pad and rotor setup with well maintained drums in the back and you'll still be stoppin great.

I would agree that for a street car just more agresive pads in the front and properly working rear drums should be fine. That should fit in your budget too.

Going to bigger brakes isnt always the best, If you need a bigger "heat sink" then bigger discs are ok, but when you start changing calipers and stuff you are messing with the brake bias honda engineered into the car. Also the added weight of bigger brakes is a detriment to performance

Heck there was a guy racing honda challenge H4 with drum rears and he did just fine!!!

On my 95 EG race car i have integra disc/caliper up front and stock in the rear. This has worked well on my H2 race car
