Default timing belt cover

I bought a obd-2 oil pump for my obd-1 b18c1. I was told that to get the timing belt cover to fit you would need to trim it a little bit. I'm pretty sure you have to modify it at the bottom of the cover but not to sure. Can anyone inform me on this tell where about I need to trim it.

I'm not sure that there's any difference. I have my timing belt cover from my b18b1 on my b18a block with a type R oil pump which is a pretty good mix up, but I can't be 100% sure

why dont you put the pump in. line the cover up and see where you need to trim its not rocket science its a plastic cover. dont mean to jump on you but get real.

well yes it will be clean and not all hacked up if you take the time to look at what has been layed right in front of your eyes.
