POSIBLE shell 4sale. INDIANA. 96civic dx coupe, manual, 99-00 front end swap.
im considering selling my project car with no drivetrain.
$1,200bucks obo. and i wont have the engine/ tranny parts pulled until i get a 500dollar deposit. then i will pull the parts (until then i drive the car daily
). i estimate 2days to pull them tops. 1 day if im off work. otherwise id need 2 afternoons.
title in hand, it is rebuilt from previous wreck.

ill pull the motor, tranny, the engine harness and computer, and radiator.
heres the story. i bought the car from a tow yard wrecked. originaly i bought it for the drivetrain to swap my 99automatic to a manual. but when i got the car and tore it down to see that the damage was really just a high impact that cleared the frame rails, so i droped a radiator in it and fired it up and it ran good and drove good around the yard so i started rebuilding it.
it has been in a accident before visably from passenger door, the door is red under the silver paint and there looks to be some damage around the door pillar but door closes fine. but it does have alittle wind noise driving down the interstate. i think it just needs smoothed out better for the seal to be noise free.
tho a plus but minus at the same time.... the car does have ALOT of undercoating on it. and some other rust proofing stuff that is sprayed in the trunk lid, which is the minus with it being hot the stuff kinda ozzes out the trunk lid along the bumper. trunk lid needs to be pulled and something rinsed thru the lid to clean that junk out.
BUT the car is mostly rust free.
slight hail damage and afew dings and dents nothing to bad that can not be fixed.
only other slight things is the passenger axle boot is busted and drivers door panel arm rest is busted under the fabric.. ive been meaning at pulling the panel and fiberglassing it solid again as well as redo the fabric with some matching tweed which i just redid the headliner in. ill include the rest of my fabric with the car. ive got like 2yards or so left right now. nice stuff.
and the dash and door panels look like they have a silver overspray on them with some silver small drops all around. isnt to bad, i havent tried to remove the overspray yet.
and the PLUS new front end, radiator support, fenders, hood, bumper bar, bumper cover, foam, hood latch.
99-00 taillights.
and only REALLY around 80K miles on the car!
title is screwy due to canadian model in KL and of course on the title for US they dont have a kl or miles box so it says like 122K miles but thats 122K Kilometers! which is only about 78K miles when i bought it. cannt remember how much milage currently on it but im keeping the drivetrain so thats not a huge issue.
feel free to look at all my pictures. i have nothing to hide!

This is the car when i bought it.

and the door.

the car does have AC and ABS brakes. tho the AC needs a new drier and the condenser installed and vaced and charged and it should work. the ac condenser was smashed into the exhaust manifold so system was open. i sealed the lines when i got the car to prevent dirt from geting in the lines. i have a used condenser and fan assembly and even oem new Orings for the lines all ready to be installed and then ya just have to have the system vaced and charged. midas estimated me 160-180bucks to vac and charge the system.
ive been putting it off.
car also has custom fuel pump kill and a nice lcd paging alarm/remote starter system that i just installed last week. (yes a remote starter on a manual
) no worries to me since i never leave it in gear and never had a problem with a remote starter on a manual i used to have. if you want added safety simply pull the jumper wire on the clutch bypass and plug it back in or just cut the starter wire from the alarm. very easy! ill do so if you wish.
