Cheapest place to get brakes bled?
I recently replaced my master cylinder with a reman. master cylinder and got the brakes bled at pepboys for $60... well the reman. master was faulty and started leaking again. I plan on replacing the master cylinder w/ a brand new cylinder and having a shop just bleed my brakes for me but dont want to spend $60 again if I can find it cheaper. Is there any shop that is cheaper... I'm currently in Raleigh, NC. Any help appreciated
Ditto to Smellslike.... No need to spend $60 for brake bleeding ever. If assistance is a problem get a bleeder valve kit (can also be made of out a simple vacuum valve) for a few dollars. This allows you to work alone. I have replaced a master cyclinder (not on a Honda but a VW bus) and did without bench bleeding--muddled through somehow and five years later all is well.

Obviously you haven't installed a master cylinder before, It takes two minutes tops once you bench bleed the cylinder...all it is is two bolts to the booster and the two brake lines... GTFO if you have nothing to add to the thread noob

lol i'll do it for $20
But seriously if you can still brake, wait until you have time to do it yourself. Bc IMHO it is really not worth the $$ to pay some guy $60 to do something that you can do yourself. I have been driving on my Ek hatch withOUT proper bleeding the lines after the rear disc swap for an year. If you really have to get it done by someone else, anything above $80 I'll say its not worth it.

honestly, if you have time 2 drop the car off to have i fixed, just do it yourself. plus, you wont be stopping if you change the master but don't bleed the lines.
if you insist on aking it to a shop, try offering cash, it may get the work done for cheap.

Last time I changed it in the parking lot of pepboys so I didn't have to drive anywhere, but all advice is appreciated
