what would cause hesitation when on the gas?

it stutters when when the u press the gas pedal
then the car just goes.

vaccuum leaks were checked and okay! no leaks
what else could it bee?

check timing, could be bad fuel pump, bad dizzy, or ignition components. Try the fuel filter too.

Misfires. Ignition or fuel. I experienced a problem like this on my brother's Talon an eon ago. It was the spark plug wires. Check the resistance.

Limit is 25k ohms max @ a temperature of 68 degrees F. If any one of them is higher than that, replace them all.

I've even got a spare set from my '95 GS-R that you can have if they fit.
