I have a P30 ecu and B16 DOHC Head. LS short block. P72 Pistons and I am doing the standard LS/Vtec Swap in reference to mating the two together however I am not sure to much on building an all motor honda and I was looking for advice on how to build a daily driver somewhere around 240-275 HP range. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated thank you.
240-275 hp B series street car will be expensive. Your looking at atleast 8000 if you do it right and want atleast some longevity. Also dont plan on running pump gas at 275whp. You might wanna look at what your getting yourself into before you throw yourself under the bus.
yea all motor ls vtec build plan on seeing 215-225 all motor build if done right.. and with lots of cash. for an all motor setup trying to reach 275 hp ide def look into k series but thats some paper...

Ok, thank you yeah I know it would consist of a crap load of paper... I have a stage 2 turbo 65 trim ball bearing Garrett t3/04 should I just say screw it and run turbo cause it would be cheaper in the long run and I can still run 93 up to like 12 -14 psi right. I know this isn't the board for it but before I crush my dreams lol I just wanna know
thanks everyone
thanks everyone

Hey how about you actually read for a second and realize that I did say this wasn't the board for it but I wanted to know.... so I dunno man thanx everyone else!!!
theres like 50000000 threads on building all motor ls vtecs for daily drivers look around but first off ditch the block and grab a b20. shove some rods rod bolts and pistons then build the head call it a wrap...

Yeap, it could be done but it's going to cost a lot of money. It would be a best of the best type build.

you gentlemen have very keen eyes. a distinctive character of a true engine builder, paying much attention to details!

everything costs money. its not like a built motor is a necessity its a luxury. I wonder what the OP does for a living.

That sounds tight, and I think my b16 tranny will fit with it... how much am I looking at for the pistons and rods and build for head? 1600 or more?
im a 20 year old kid with a some what decent paying job and am building an engine with those hp goals whp that is and i have close to 12K invested into my engine alone and am still trying to gather up parts to finish it.hp numbers do not mean **** to a tree, track times are what count, with this being just a dd the items you listed will be great for a dd car and a weekend warrior on a moderate budget. just my 2 cents.
