Sooo my brother bought this car back.. last year? and he left to japan a little later without registering the car. Stored it at my grandparents house. Now im trying to register it and the title was stolen or lost? not where it was last left. Soo any help will be greatly appreciated. It came with black steelies.

The outside was painted black and the interior and engina bay was left blue

IM NOT TRYING TO GET ANYTHING BACK OR SUE U OR ANYTHING. JUST NEED U TOO SIGN SOME PAPERS SO I CAN GET A TITLE TO REGISTER THE CAR!

wat are u like 13......


go down to the DMV!!! they will give u all the papers and give u the run down on how to get the title and re register the car....

they will put a lean hold on the car and if in thirty days no one answers to it they will give u the new registration and pink....

well actually no im 17. but close enough. i already went down to the dmv and they gave me a slip to get signed by the previous owner to request a new title for the car. but thanks for the help.. or critisicm bud.

thats wat u need to do....

they did the same thing to my buddie and untill i went down to the dmv with them and told them wat we needed to get done... they are giving u the run around because ur a kid...

go back to the dmv.....

Go back to the dmv. If you dont want to go back to the dmv get AAA membership and go there. they are alot nicer there. good luck

 

Yup do what the other guy said, go to the DMV I did the same thing the title was lost so they gave me a paper to sign and they sent me a new one. And if you want to contact the previous owner ask for his number or address in the DMV.

 

do you know the name of dude who sold your bro the car? if you do then forge a bill of sale and put in the bill of sale that the title is lost simple as that

 

DMV should have at least given you the name of the previous owner, (the registered owner) first of all, at least that's what they did with me.


And yea they will help you out with everything just go there and tell them you can't find the original owner, they'll help you. You don't HAVE to track down the original owner.
