Default Looking for the 0-15mph time for a 95 civic ex coupe.

Hi all, i'm fighting a red light camera ticket, and i'm seeking a relatively authoritative source for the 0-15mph acceleration time for a stock 95 civic ex coupe. Hopefully, it's authoritative enough to take to court.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I'm attempting to prove that I made a legal right turn on red after stopping.

The only evidence they have is a picture of my car behind the stop line with no speed recorded and then a picture 1.7 seconds later traveling 16mph clearly making a right turn after having traveled approximately 12 feet.

My ticket is $400 + a point on my license

was there a sign that read "no right turns on red"? if so... it was illegal no matter how fast you going, or else it wouldn't of taken your picture.

16MPH at 1.7 sec sounds about right

Nope, no sign. I visited the intersection again and looked.

i take everything to court and ive got off on almost half of them by either the court being nice or the cop not showing so its always worth it.

its always worth it to go to court. unless you get tons of speeding tickets. I had fines that totalled up to 2k-2.5k. I got away with $364=].I have pics to prove. What makes a right turn illegal, assuming theres no sign and you yield to oncoming traffic?

pedestrians in the crosswalk. if you yielded, there should be no problem.

ask them how they can prove that you never stopped at the red light. then show the picture with you behind the line and no speed recorded i.e. stopped.
