Default My h2b setup

So as a few of you know I traded my 200whp 1.8 for a turbo gsr setup, well lets just say that didnt go too well as it wasn't tuned well (i was told it was and i believed them like a moron), I broke ringlands on all 4 pistons and melted part of one piston to the cylinder wall, the damage is awesome if you like carnage. Anywho I traded my setup for a modified H2B because he wanted to make 500whp or so and go turbo. So here it is.

stock block jdm h22 with around 11:1 compression at the moment
port flow head
supertech valve train
supertech flat face valves
skunk2 pro1s
skunk2 intake manifold
skunk2 70mm throttle body
3" intake arm
custom side exit header, 2" primaries, burns stainless megaphone with reverse nose cone
quarter sports H2B kit
stock mounts (I really dont drive it cuz i need stiffer mounts)
GSR tranny
ACT clutch and 8lb flywheel
tuned on neptune by john kerr
It made 245/167 on a local dyno jet

I guess my next step is to build the bottom end, probably bore 1mm over, get to around 12:1 compression and get some bigger cams.

any other suggestions ?

head milled and flat face valves. its an estimate.

stock is 10.6:1, head milling brought it to around 10.8, I estimated the valves giving it another .2

How is the GSR trans treating you? Im thinkin of going with a GSR trans also, does yours have any sort of LSD? How is it for traction? Also could you take a picture of the ground clearance? Thanks in advance.

.030 off the head is about one point of compression .
you might have alittle more compression than that
good numbers and setup

Torque numbers are definitely a little low, but overall very nice setup.

So my one question for you is - How long before you throw it in a hatch ?

just enough for a clean up, so like .005"

I also forgot it has a 2 layer HG on it.

I think zeal autowerks said 10.77 with the milling and 2 layer so the valves might bring it up a little too.

I'd like to get a b16/itr tranny but the gsr is fine for now. No lsd, traction? wtf is that?

I can take a picture of the clearance on friday.

You know I was thinking the same thing about the torque, I'm thinking it might be in need of a freshened up bottom end and a nice bump in compression.

find me a hatch to throw it in and I'll do it.

Idk I think it should be making a little more with the bump in compression but I remember it did lose a bit of TQ after the head work and cams. So I guess Its where it should be.

The power is nice but a side exit that has got to be very loud and annoying after 5 mins. You should get a new header and some 3" exhaust.

Thats the plan.

He had a stock header that I could have used for the time being but someone threw it away when it was sitting up at his garage so I had to put this one on.

I'd like a camp 1320 header and a 3", there is an rmf for sale in the classifieds at the moment.....hmmmmm

How's that pcp?

funny thing about that side exit is that my friend made it himself and he was trying to replicate the SSR one thats on skunked's car, he was trying to save money since the SSR is 1200 or so and he ended up spending like 1400. I think the damn megaphone was $400 by it self.

Dumbass lol.

I'm getting two other h22 blocks, gonna build one of them on the side.

Burns stainless collectors are very worth it. The header is not bad. If you friend can fab like that I may have some work for him.

I hear nothing but great things about their collectors and megaphones. I can't remember if he was the one that cut all the piping or not. I know he got someone else to weld it though.

If he didn't cut it up then I can always give you the number of the guy who did.

with the windows up its not THAT bad.

It sounds like a drag bike. Not a crotch rocket drag bike but like a drag harley or an older drag bike say from the 90s.

I'm thinking about selling the side exit.

Oh and thank you all for not being morons like the guys on team integra when I posted this up on there.

I swear that forum is full of idiots.

most of the articles are written by morons anyway.

I only go there to find out cam specs cuz MD actually put together a decent list.

I got bored and posted this same thread over there and morons were knocking my side exit saying that a stock header and a full exhaust would make more power.

oddly enough this header gained 24whp over a stock header and a 3" dump
