Built GSR VS. Stock K20A2 explanation inside!
Alright I'm faced with a hard decision or maybe it isn't that hard and Im just putting too much thought into it. I'll explain both motors and what they have seperately. My delima is which one to go wtih because a guy wants my GSR motor I'm building in favor of a stock K20A2
GSR motor has:
HEAD
Skunk2-
intake manifold
pro series pro 3 cams
pro series high comp valves
pro series valve springs
pro series cam gears
BDL throttle body
Portflow headwork 3 angle job
BLOCK
CP 84.5MM 12.5 Compression pistons
IBEAM RODS
Golden Eagle sleeved
balanced crank
moroso oil pan
TRANNY
96 GSR tranny with OBX lsd
ACT 14 lbs flywheel
Street disk
pressure plate
MISC.
Rage Header
AEM cold air intake
Drive Shaft shop axles
Innovative mounts
S300 Hondata
VS.
STOCK K20A2 complete swap
Hondata Kpro
R crew headers
So the GSR explained above is one that is already coming together into a 96 four door.
All he wants is the block and head with hondata S300, and he would give me enough money to buy a complete K20A2 swap...
What's your guys' opinon????
I don't think I missed anything if I did I'll update this...

Ahahahaha!!!!
Ahahahaha!!!!
Under the "rules" for this forum it clearly states:
4) E-Racing/Bench Racing/Guess my 1/4 or HP
There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.
Lock.

Where does this fall into any of those catagories? Never said how fast either Motor was, nor did I ask to guess what HP one would make. I simply asked for other peoples opinions if they were in my shoes. That's all.

That's the cool thing. If Im not mistaken the stock K will probably have the same if not more power then the built GSR and it still has a long ways to go as far as the build as the GSR is probably maxed out on pump gas.
Alot more dependable the K will be for everyday driving

k's have really short gearing pain in the *** for everyday in my opinion and always got the risk of smashing the oil pan at least with the hasport mounts leavin the oil pan low as hell. And ive had some buddy's that love but hate em, one's been thru 6 of em all motor itb's and boosted. and my other buddy's got a stock jdm k20 boosted it blew it on 10psi got one fully built broke in right all new setup blew it back to a gsr. every1 i know with gsr's beat the **** out of em before they give way and part's are cheap and everywere
My bro has a k20a2 on 24 psi lasted all last summer no sleeves! Check the vids of it on YouTube.com/miltownimports so idk about them being weak. I also have a k20a2 now all stock with kpro untuned and it surprised me how quick it felt.. k series FTW! Just my opinion. Good luck
