one headlight brighter than the other
I've never heard of that and they were both the same up until a few weeks back. Also if that was the case then mine are really messed up because the left is brighter than the right.

This wouldent make sense for one very simple reason. When you go to a part store to pick up a light bulb, are they labled left and right? No.
One headlight could be dimmer then the other if its starting to burn out. If you touched the bulb with your hands, the can burn out real fast, sometimes as soon as a couple days, or months.
On left hand drive cars, the headlights are right side justified. This is done so that you dont blind oncoming traffic and so you can see street signs better. If you have JDM headlights then you will be blinding traffic much more, and see the street signs less as they are aimed the opposite way.

Ok. l replaced the headlamps with the same type factory ones so they are not jdm and i replaced the bulbs today so it cant be the bulbs.

Just to clairfy, the JDM headlights was just a refrence to why some cars are bright to the left, or right.
If you replaced both bulbs at the same time, then you have either a poor ground on one side, or a resistance issue. First step would be to inspect the socket for corrosion, then the hard task of checking resistance and continuity between the wiring and ground points etc.

I inspected both connectors and they looked pretty much the same. No corrosion or obvious defect except for the unavoidable car tar. I have no clue how to check for resistance and continuity, would it be easier just to splice in a new connector?

i went to my local mech shop today and so far they have made the most sense. I never adjusted my housings since i installed them and when i pull up to my garage door i do notice one beam higher than the other. It just got dark enough out for me to try. ill update later.
