Get whatever you want. Since when did everyone elses opinion of your car matter matter more than yours, or at all for that matter.

just go on ebay and see what china canister mufflers they have. you can buy them super cheap there. but trust me, you'll sound so sh*tty itll be embarassing.

or you can go here, http://www.inlinefour.com/unmu.html and get something a little bit nicer and less obnoxious and have a little dignity if you choose to do so.

My buddy has Tanabe 2 3/8 and sounds great. Recently switch'd over to the Vibrant muffler and is as quiet as stock/ until you really open her up.

Given the fact that you said you like "canister" type mufflers.......
Ive always been a fan of the Spoon n1, even though it is extremely loud and pricey.

One of the most popular styles weve seen on Hondas forever, would be the Apexi N1. It seems to be on every damn honda nowadays, even though its not my cup of tea.

The HKS carbon Ti, is a sick axleback, big, pricey, but very very nice.

If you can find a T1R axleback, HOP ON IT, it is the nicest sounding exhaust i have heard to date, along with the spoon n1.

Personally, i am a fan of the oval type of mufflers ( unless its the spoon n1 or t1r sports)
But i love the look of the Thermal 3 inch, or the SMSP ovals. Not to mention that the stock ITR muffler is one sexy thing lol...

good luck with whatever you choose...
