What magazine do you like best? Super Street, Honda Tuning...
Trending Topics
SCC is good for soft-core techincal articles, "Racecar Engineering" is great for hardcore technical engineering.
"Grassroot Motorsport" is fun little magazine.
I also like "SuperStreet" for all the JDM cars

superstreet hands down, I think they are taking more of an option approach when presenting articles. While sport compact provides more reading material they have terrible/lame pictures or shall I say very few to go with a great article. Again everyone this is my opinion.
I did'nt vote for any because I only buy the mag that has some articles that I'm interested in. Mostly SS or IT. More rare for me to pick up HT or SCC. And I dont feel like one mag is better than the other (most of the months they all suck ,but they do get lucky every now and then).
I like the newest mag out. Its called Modified Mag. Some really good tech articles. No rice (thank god). Covers the GO cars not the SHOW cars. Great event coverage---event meaning NHRA, IDRC, NDRA, SEMA IAS---not NOPI or Hot Import Nights.

i dropped my subscription to SCC cause it was just a bunch of ****. i have import tuner and SS now. im thinkin of droppin both of them also. they r all crappy mags with little to no insight. their articles suck and all the cars in them look the same. import tuner is geared towards ricers that the cars have never seen the track. obviously with acception to their JDM specials. SS has unreliable info in their mags. im just fed up with all mags. with the knowledge i have now, theres very little worth reading about, much less spending money on that crappy info.
i forgot to mention that the photographers need glasses cause the chicks in those mags look like scandelous crack ******. then the editors should b shot for printin those pics of the ugly girls in the mags too.

I like Super Street for its eye candy. As much as I don't respect show cars, I still like looking at them now and then. Also the J-Spec cars are cool to check out. But the writing sucks, and there are too many ads. It's not cool when I flip through 6 consecutive pages of wheel/tire combo things.
I think Sport Compact Car is the best mainstream mag. Good picture quality, better writing than Super Street. I like the rally coverage, and the project cars are always entertaining to read about.
Import Tuner, Turbo, Import Racer, etc. I think are all pretty much crap. Sometimes there's a decent article (Turbo covers some amazing Supras now and then), and you gotta like Import Tuner for the beautiful shots of the cover car (and girl
). But there isn't much substance.
Finally, Honda Tuning can sometimes be a rehash of articles in SCC or IT, but mostly it has good info. Small, but informative nonetheless. I particular liked their All-Motor issue a year or so ago.

I like the writing in SCC, and I learn a thing or two usually. Usually there is at least one article with some good technical info. Also, I actually like to hear about other cars (neons, focuses, WRX's, MP5's, etc.). I get a little burned out on Honda all the time.

Import Tuner:
Gotta give it
for the chics and the whips.
Sport Compact Car:
Gotta give it
on the technical side. It's good trainer for gear-head trivia.
Super Street:
Gotta give it
I like the writers, it covers mad aspects of the scene.
Import Racer:
it kinda sucks, writing, articles, features, no bad broads. Hello??
Just my opinion
