Default Accord has difficulty shifty to 4th gear when cold outside

Hi everyone i am new to the forum but really glad I found it. The information you guys provide is great. He is my question to you. I have a 1995 Honda Accord 2.2l MFI that had the transmission rebuild 2 1/2 years ago and it has been driving great. It shifts a little hard but it is my understanding that it is typical of hondas. What i have been noticing is that when it is cold my card does not like to shift into 4th gear. It is an automatic and i never had this problem over the summer. I was wondering what you guys think. I was thinking TCM. Am i on the right track or way off.

Thanks for your info

as far as i know mainly all hondas will do that in cold temp's......especially when living in hot areas i used to live in az so cold weather was rare and thats when the tranny would need to "warm up" to shift.....
