I have a cable b series trans. in my 93 hatch, i guess its a y1. i know its from a jdm b16 da integra.
there is a clunking noise coming from the drivers axle when i turn and accelerate. from what i understand im using the wrong axle (93 integra) but i cant get a good answer from searching as to which axle i should use.

clunking on accelerating or turning means its bad... i dont kno if its the right one but thats usually an indicator of a blown cv joint... replace it its like 50 bux.

 

yes its bad, and i know i need to replace it. thats why im asking for a reccomendation for which axle to use. its been making this noise since new but has gotten much worse. thanks anyway

Who said those axles are wrong and why?

I have 90-93 Integra axles (and a 90-93 Integra intermediate shaft) on my '92 EH2 w/ B16A, has worked fine for a long time.

 

if the axle fits, then its the right axles, the clunking noise is just because its bad
