You should be able to swap out the spindle in the rear if that is what you are talking about being too long.

again, http://technet.ff-squad.com/how-to/5lug.ef-da/
follow the same steps as putting a 5 lug on. for the rear, if you have the trailing arm, it will bolt up. for the front , you will need to get it machined as stated in the link provided.
