Retarded Intake cam effect on AFR

If all other things constant - and my intake cam is retarded by say -3 degrees will my motor run richer or leaner?

Cant say it'll run either, but it will change your AFR's....

That depends if the cam was in the correct place and you then retarded it. If so It would run richer. If the cam was in the wrong place and the 3 degrees retard was where the engine wanted it, then leaner.
