sorry i forgot to clarify, its for a 99 gsr. Also its the cam plug that's on the passenger side of the engine (right by the vtec solenoid) not the cam seals on the driver side.

The aftermarket Cam plugs will last much longer, and designed much better.

Any B-series (VTEC head) plug will fit. It doesn't have to be GSR specific.

And h22 vtec plugs work as well.

If you're using the OEM plug like me, I'd reccomend wrapping some teflon tape onto the o-ring and apply a layer of hondabond or permatex (Grey) on the plug before installation. Doesn't hurt to prevent premature leakage.

Neither do I. I just happen to have remembered that note when I was tearing apart my motor a couple years back.

And common sense on using hondabond....I dont know about that one. Helms says to use hondabond in pretty specific areas on the engine. I suppose thats what makes you the guru master tech.

I've never thought of myself as a "master tech guru", but thanks for noticing. I've been around long enough and know how to use my knowledge & resources to assist when someone, or myself is in need of assistance. Did you want to start a debate on the usage of Hondabond?
