HOOD DAMPER ??? Anyone?? EG
Anyone successfully install hood dampers on their EG? ...or EK
Need pics of install AND how the hood looks when closed.
I've searched high & low for any related info.
I'm begining to think that of the ones available in the market, NONE FIT PROPERLY!
It either requires bending of some sort or cutting (NO THANKS!)
Of the threads I've found showing pics, they all appear to be VAGUE. then they don't show how the hood looks in it's closed position.
I'm concerned about gaps and fitments.
Hmmmm......
Honda Community! Please verify!

Because the metal rod that the car came with is cheaper, lighter, and just as (if not more) functional.

so why do you suppose higher-end vehicles come factory equipped with such devices?
I'm interested in it's convenience factor.
just researching for now.

Because they come with much heavier hoods.
Eh, to each his own.
See if there's anything useful to you in this thread.

Why do you think every LS400 owner has a broomstick in their trunk?
Seriously though, I've installed one on a WRX, it took like 10 minutes. Just buy one and throw it on.
