removing sideskirts?

94+ the screws are on the bottom and it slides either forward or back to remove. I can't remember which direction it goes; or if that even matters.

When you put it back on, be sure to remove all the clips from the body that were holding the skirt on, stick those into the sideskirt itself, and then simply push the skirt back on until it clicks into place.
Don't mess with trying to put it back on by sliding it backwards (reverse of removal). You'll never get it back on all the way, and it will look like the back end of the skirt isn't flush with the rear quarter panel arch.
At one time there was a myth floating around that ITR side skirts sat flush with the rear arch, but non-R skirts were slightly shorter. This was a total myth due to improper installation of the stock skirts.
It should look like this when you get it back on:
