Wings West body kit question

I was thinking about getting a wings west kit and was wondering if you had to remove the actual protective crossmember thing to put on the front end, or does it fit over it?

fits over it, you just need to remove the factory bumper padding.. It bolts right up nice and easy, I'm on my second big mouth bumper on my 99.

Is it a lip or an actual bumper? My w-type fit right over my bumper.

It is the wings west INTEGRA 2DR RACING SERIES typ 2 body kit. So it is an actual bumper i think.

That's just a front lip. It replaces the factory front lip.
