Default z6 motor and zc trans clutch and axle question help?!

whats up honda-tech i have a 91 crx dx and have d16z6 motor in there right now and my tranny blew so my friend is giving me a zc tranny i was wondering what clutch and flywheel would i buy the z6 clutch and flywheel or the zc clutch and flywheel im not really sure on this one and i only have one axle for the zc i heard u can use a 90 91 da integra axle is this true and will the axles fit in my dx hub?

and yes i searched but people say yes u can and people say no u cant they always pop out etc ....

can anyone help .... this is my daily driver and need my car on rode to get to work

To my knowledge, which isn't too vast on the whole dohc zc stuff, the trans is the same as the the early integra's with the d16a1's, I would honestly go to the local auto parts store, maybe autozone, or advance, whatever you got near you, and physically compare what you have and what the other trans calls for. If you tell them you are doing a swap or custom project, the younger guys are quicker to drop all and help, at least in my experiences anyway. As for the flywheel and clutch, I would guess all were the same just dependant on year due to the splines. Most d series flywheels are the same 88 til 2000 anyways, with the clutch just dependant on the spline count. Best of luck on what you got goin.

It depends on the year of zc tranny. Different years of trannies have different spline counts. You need to find out what year tranny you have and buy parts accordingly. As for axles, 90-93 axles do fit but you need the zc intermediate shaft to make things work which is very hard to find. Your better off finding a a6 SI tranny and be done with it.
