Rear seat delete kit
I didn't buy a kit, but I hit the local Home Depot and pieced this together somewhere around 2002.
2 pieces of thin wood, few feet of carpet, an electric saw, some spray adhesive, and some cardboard to trace the rear cargo area.

This kit is NOT designed to remove ANY weight. It is simply another option and (IMHO) a much cleaner one at that. The race kit is lighter, and to the best of my knowledge, quickly removeable at the track.
Another reason for doing a kit like this....It provides a firm and level platform to build a custom system upon.
K Dezines is primarily a car audio company. Like many have stated, the foward compartment could be used to hide componets, groceries, etc.

I like the idea of the compartments but I think i like rodrez's better.
As long as it ways the same or less than seats I would have one, I hate having more than 2 people in my car. Also a thrid or fourth person would add wait so in that since it could save you wait.

One piece of thin wood with some carpet on it weighs less than the back seats, and to some it looks cleaner than just gutting out the rear.
